ECM4000 – Ethernet Control Module!

Scanivalve is excited to announce a brand-new product: the ECM4000 – Ethernet Control Module. The ECM4000 has been designed to simplify integration and operation over a wide variety of pressure measurement systems. It provides a single point of communications for multiple pressure scanners as well as a simple solution for managing control pressures to pressure scanners.

The ECM4000 boasts 8 external digital inputs and 8 external digital outputs in addition to 3 internal solenoids designed to be used to manage pressure scanner control pressures. The ECM4000 is built around a core function of creating and executing scripts which can include responding to digital input signals, cycling digital outputs, cycling control pressures, sending Ethernet commands, querying pressure scanners or inserting timed delays. These basic functions can be programmed to help support a variety of needs in a pressure measurement system. Like most Scanivalve products, IEEE1588v2 Precision Time Protocol is supported providing excellent synchronization capabilities.

The ECM4000 is an excellent complement to any Scanivalve pressure measurement system. Its versatility and flexibility allow it to simplify the most complicated high-channel-count systems or get a simple system up and running quickly. Excellent for wind-tunnel, power generation, and test cell applications, the ECM4000 also has an optional heater for flight test applications. The ECM4000 is an excellent compliment to any DSA, MPS, or hybrid pressure measurement system.

Scanivalve continues to expand our product line to support our users worldwide. The ECM4000 is an excellent example how we can leverage our vast experience to design products that allow users to easily expand and maximize the capabilities of their Scanivalve pressure measurement systems.

If you have any questions on the ECM4000, or any Scanivalve products, please reach out to us! More information on the ECM4000 can be found on our website: Click Here!

Happy Holidays!

We would like to wish you Happy Holidays!

We would like to remind everyone that we will be closed December 25th through January 1st. We will do our best to respond to all inquires when we are back in the office on January 2nd.

Have a wonderful rest of the year – and thank you for a great 2019!

New MPS4264 Configuration – The Electric Valve!

Scanivalve is excited to announce a new addition to the MPS4000 series – a Scanivalve first! We have added a third, non-pneumatic valve control configuration to the MPS4264 Miniature Pressure Scanner — the Electric Valve!

The MPS4264/EPx – Electric Valve was developed to eliminate the need for pneumatic control pressures. Extending the body of the MPS allotted the space to add a motor and gear in order to drive the valve. Simple software commands were added to the firmware to allow the valve state to be changed from Measurement mode to Calibrate/Purge, while maintaining the same optical sensor in order to query the current state of the valve. This makes the MPS4264/EPx ideal for applications where pneumatic control pressures are inconvenient or unavailable.

Beyond the modifications to the housing and increased power requirements, all other features of the EPx are identical to the pneumatic configurations including the sensor package, communications, and the option to be installed into a TCU. The EPx configuration is now available for order!

For more information on the MPS4264/EPx, please visit the MPS4264 product page to find the data sheet, 3D models, and other information about the Electric Valve.

MPS4164 – Miniature Analog Pressure Scanner Available Now!

The development and release of the MPS4000 was a major game changer to the pressure measurement industry, and has opened new doors for Scanivalve. The continuous development for smaller, more accurate pressure scanners has introduced a new scanner to the MPS4000 family – the MPS4164 Miniature Analog Pressure Scanner.

The MPS4164 is similar to the MPS4264 in many ways; small form factor, same valve design and configurations, ultra-stable pressure sensors, and the option to be installed in a MPSTCU. However, the MPS4164 is not an Ethernet intelligent device – this MPS is an analog pressure scanner that can be used in conjunction with a data acquisition system, like the DSM4000 or ERAD4000.

The MPS4164 was designed to be a direct replacement for the ZOC33 offering a smaller form factor, improved temperature stability, new-and-improved valve, and achieving higher accuracy standards. The MPS4164 uses the same 15 pin electrical connector as the ZOC33, and the CPx valve configuration offers users the ability to use same pneumatic control pressures to operate the valve.

The MPS4164 is available and we are now accepting orders!

MPS4264 Serial Number 200!

Two weeks ago we celebrated the final checkout procedure for serial number 200 (unit number 100) of our newest line of pressure scanners – the MPS4264. The MPS4264 has broken pivotal ground in the pressure measurement arena, and we are continuing our development of additions and options to incorporate into the MPS4000 family. We would like to thank everyone for their support, patronage, and friendship over the years, and we look forward to the new era of pressure measurement instrumentation – the MPS4000 series!

DSA-PTP Now Available!

Scanivalve has just released the newest members of the DSA family: The DSA3217-PTP and the DSA3218-PTP. The DSA3217/3218-PTP series scanner features an improved processor board, firmware upgrade, legacy compatibility and IEEE1588-2008v2 PTP. This upgrade will also improve scanning speeds up to 850Hz/channel while maintaining the ability to be a drop-in replacement for a 3200 series DSA scanner. This updated scanner is currently available for gas pressure measurement. The liquid version, DSA3207-PTP and DSA3307-PTP will be released soon.

Please feel free to view the DSA-PTP White Paper to see the changes and improvements over our legacy DSA3200 scanners.

DSA-PTP Coming Soon

Scanivalve will soon be releasing the newest edition to the DSA series of scanners- The DSA-PTP. The DSA-PTP series scanner features an improved processor board, firmware upgrade, legacy compatibility and IEEE1588-2008v2 PTP. This upgrade will also improve scanning speeds up to 850Hz/channel while maintaining the ability to be a drop-in replacement for a 3200 series DSA scanner. This updated scanner will be available in both gas (DSA3217/3218) and liquid (DSA3207/3307) models.

DSM4000 now features IEEE-1588 v2 PTP compatibility and multicast

The latest software release for the DSM4000 is packed with features. Every DSM4000 can now be upgraded to be IEEE-1588 v2 PTP compatible, and features multicast capabilities. PTP compatibility includes the ability for the DSM to act as a PTP master and serve the time to other compatible Scanivalve devices, or act as a slave and get the time from a PTP Grandmaster or other master device. This enables users to synchronize their scan data between their DSM and other PTP compliant device.

In addition to PTP, we have also released multicast features for the DSM scanner. This features allow a user to send a single scan, stop or find command from one unit on the multicast network to all the other units on the multicast network. The multicast feature is currently available on the 4000 series MPS and DSM products.
